Join NEI

Thank you for your interest in NEI membership.
The Nuclear Energy Institute is the nuclear energy industry’s policy organization. The Institute represents and serves the interests of approximately 280 member organizations worldwide.

Only organizations are eligible for NEI membership.
Corporations and professional partnerships are welcome to join NEI. Universities also are invited to apply for membership. NEI encourages individuals who believe that their company or university would benefit from NEI membership to request that their organization submit an application.

A wide range of organizations belong to NEI.

NEI members include the U.S. electric utility industry, plant designers, architect and engineering firms, consulting services and manufacturing companies, fuel cycle companies, law firms, labor unions, radionuclide and radiopharmaceutical companies, international electric utilities, and many others.

Amount of dues depends on membership category.
Members are assigned one of several categories of membership. The method of calculating dues in each category varies depending on the type of organization joining.
